Welcome to The Campbelltown Joggers Club

Facebook

The Campbelltown Joggers Club, established in 1976 is the Macarthur area's premier running club. Campbelltown Joggers welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities, with the main emphasis being on having fun while keeping fit. The club has an extensive variety of weekly runs on the road, track and in the bush. New members are welcome to turn up and try with no obligation to join. Whatever your level of fitness you won't be left behind at the Campbelltown Joggers Club.

The Tuesday night track session has started again as of the 27th of July. Cost is now $4 for adults and $3 for children. This fee is to pay Campbelltown Council for the cost of providing the lighting. All participants are reminded to be track side and warmed up ready to run at 7pm sharp.

Club Run Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th September - Relay For Life Camden
Relay for Life

The intention of the Relay for Life at Camden on the calendar is so that the club can participate on mass and it will incorporate the club run for that weekend.  Tom Limbrey has been nominated as team captain and organiser. The intention is that we have as many people as possible participate in the entire event and that all club members would at least attend on the Sunday morning.

The Camden event was chosen with the guidance of Sue Cooper who participated last year with her school (Camden South PS) and the obvious connection with her son Nathan’s illness.  Sue is involved again this year – you may have seen her in the local paper promoting the event recently.

Tom has registered the team and is the team captain. Team Name – Campbelltown Joggers. Anyone can join the team themselves by going to this link and registering by clicking on the ‘JOIN’ button. Join Here. Registration Fees: Early bird registration $15 per person (pay by 05 September 2010) Registrations from 06 September 2010 onwards $20 per person. Check out the FAQ’s from the Relay for Life site for a bit more info.

Shoes For Planet Earth

Shoes For Planet Earth

Please save all your old running shoes, washed, dried and tied together in pairs. Campbelltown Joggers Club will periodically arrange for collection by Shoes For Planet Earth who pass our used runners onto those who are less fortunate than us. The last lot we collected have been delivered to the Matthew Talbot Homeless Centre in Sydney and received a very warm welcome.
